Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital (Director Song Hyun) announced on November 14 that it had discussed ways to advance its medical cooperation network with Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital, which serves United States Forces Korea.

View original imageAccording to Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital, Director Song Hyun recently met with Director Chad C. Black and related personnel during their visit to the hospital, where they exchanged views on strengthening the medical capabilities for United States Forces Korea.
The visiting delegation toured key hospital facilities together, including the helipad, wards, rehabilitation treatment center, intensive care unit, and emergency medical center. They also reviewed the hospital's treatment processes and systems for responding to critical and emergency patients.
This visit was organized to share the medical capabilities and international medical infrastructure of Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital, a major partner hospital in the Tricare network for United States Forces Korea, and to seek concrete measures for expanding future cooperation.
Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital is a state-of-the-art medical institution located at Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek, the largest United States military base in Korea.
Since relocating from Yongsan and opening in 2019, the hospital has provided top-tier medical services to more than 65,000 active-duty service members, their families, and veterans through the Tricare program.
In particular, Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital is an official Tricare network hospital and has consistently provided safe and reliable medical services to United States Forces Korea and their families.
In his welcoming remarks, Director Song stated, "In February 2024, we opened the International Medical Center and further strengthened the Tricare medical system through an agreement with International SOS. In particular, we have established ourselves as a trusted medical partner by providing more than 1,500 treatments to United States Forces Korea personnel and related parties, especially those at Camp Casey."
He added, "I hope this meeting will serve as a foundation for a practical and sustainable cooperative relationship based on mutual trust."
