Growth in New App Sign-Ups, Installations, and Transaction Volume

Junggonara announced on November 14 that the monthly active users (MAU) of its own app and web services, excluding Naver Cafe, surpassed 4.5 million in October.

This figure represents an increase of approximately 20% compared to the previous month. The company analyzed that its growth centered on its own platform has accelerated since implementing policies to strengthen app-based transactions.

As part of the "Safe Transaction Guarantee Project" to create a secure trading environment for users, Junggonara has been promoting the "App-Based Safe Transition Policy" since last month, which unifies the entire transaction process-including product listing, payment, and delivery-around the app.

The company explained that this policy improved user experience and increased transaction reliability, thereby encouraging more users to migrate to its own app and web services. According to Junggonara, the number of new app sign-ups in October increased by 14% compared to the previous month and by about 1.5 times compared to January of this year, marking an all-time high. During the same period, the number of new app installations also grew by nearly 20% month-on-month.

The transaction volume is also on the rise. The total transaction amount generated in October increased by 23% compared to the previous month and more than doubled compared to January of this year.

Choi Inwook, CEO of Junggonara, stated, "The recent increase in MAU is a meaningful achievement, as it shows that users who previously traded mainly through the cafe are quickly adapting to the app and web platform environment. We will continue to do our best to ensure that all users can trade safely on the Junggonara app."
