Gyeongbuk Technopark Foundation (President Ha Inseong, referred to as Gyeongbuk TP) announced that on November 12, it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Computermate Co., Ltd. (Co-CEOs Seo Sangin and Kim Seongho) in the main seminar room to advance the AX support ecosystem for manufacturing companies in Gyeongbuk.
This agreement aims to promote the artificial intelligence transformation (AX) and digital transformation (DX) of small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in the Gyeongbuk region, and to systematically strengthen their smart manufacturing innovation capabilities.
The two organizations will cooperate in the following areas: ▲building an ecosystem to strengthen AX/DX and smart manufacturing innovation capabilities in Gyeongbuk ▲promoting AX/DX in Gyeongbuk’s key industries and discovering new growth engines ▲expanding the use of manufacturing data and the application of smart factory AX among local companies ▲identifying and planning new AX/DX projects and strengthening networking among specialized institutions ▲attracting and supporting outstanding suppliers in the region.
As a company specializing in smart factory and AI solutions, Computermate plans to lead the adoption of artificial intelligence technology in manufacturing sites and the AI transformation of smart factories in the Gyeongbuk region by establishing a corporate research institute within the Gyeongbuk TP complex.
Based on this, Gyeongbuk TP will expand the regional AX support ecosystem and jointly pursue projects aimed at advancing the Gyeongbuk manufacturing industry and enhancing its global competitiveness.
