S2W announced on the 13th that it received the Minister of Science and ICT Award on the 12th at the "2026 AI-ICT Industry and Technology Outlook Conference" held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jung-gu, Seoul, in recognition of its contributions to the dissemination of information and communication technology (ICT) achievements.

View original imagePreviously, under the support of the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP), an agency under the Ministry of Science and ICT, S2W carried out a national project titled "Development of Technology for Identifying and Analyzing the Origins of Ransomware Attacks" from April 2022 to December last year. Through this project, the company developed technology to collect evidence and identify vulnerabilities by conducting multidimensional analyses of ransomware, enabling the identification of attack infrastructure and perpetrators.
As a result of this project, S2W filed and registered a total of 17 domestic and international patents, including five in the United States. The company also published nine academic papers, including five in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE)-level journals, and made eight academic presentations both domestically and internationally.
