Paju City to Operate "Family Water Playground" Every Sunday
Paju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on November 13 that it will operate a "Family Water Playground" every Sunday starting from the 23rd at the Unjeong Multipurpose Gymnasium and Geumchon Multipurpose Indoor Gymnasium.

View original imageThis program has been organized to promote healthy leisure and communication among families. It is designed as a warm, relaxing leisure activity that any citizen can enjoy with their family.
The "Family Water Playground" will be held at the swimming pool of Unjeong Multipurpose Gymnasium (on the fourth Sunday of odd-numbered months) and at the swimming pool of Geumchon Multipurpose Indoor Gymnasium (on the third Sunday of even-numbered months). Each facility will be open in two sessions: the first session from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the second session from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., with entry available for family groups.
Admission fees are 7,000 won for adults, 5,000 won for teenagers, and 4,000 won for children. Paju residents must bring identification or proof of residence, while non-residents will be charged a 50% surcharge. Citizens who wish to participate can make a reservation in advance through Naver Place and pay on-site.
Kim Kyoungil, Mayor of Paju, stated, "I hope the Family Water Playground will become a space where families can warm both body and mind together on weekends, even during the cold season."
He added, "We will continue to expand sports facilities and diversify programs so that citizens can enjoy both leisure and health at nearby community sports centers."
