View original image"Forest Management Linkage" is an integrated information system that collects and manages data on forest management and resource survey activities in national, public, and private forests to support the management of greenhouse gas absorption performance in the forestry sector.
This 25th Digital Forestry Conference was organized by the Korea Forest Service to share the operational achievements of the Forest Management Linkage system in public and private forest management activities, as well as to present outstanding cases of AI and QGIS applications.
The evaluation was conducted based on criteria such as project registration rate, spatial information registration rate, and quality inspection utilization rate. Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province was selected as the outstanding institution among metropolitan governments, while Cheorwon County was chosen as the outstanding institution among local governments at the basic level.

Yoon Seunggi, Director of the Forest Environment Bureau of Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, stated, "By utilizing the Forest Management Linkage system, we will enhance the transparency and efficiency of forestry projects and strengthen the foundation for the continuous management and protection of our land and natural resources.
