Dry mouth is a condition in which reduced saliva secretion or changes in its composition make it difficult to chew or swallow food, and is often accompanied by symptoms such as oral pain, discomfort when speaking, diminished sense of taste, and bad breath. It is a common issue, experienced by about 30% of the population aged 65 and older, and if it persists for a long time, it can worsen into cavities, periodontitis, or oral ulcers, making consistent management necessary.
Drymedigel is an artificial saliva product that supplements natural saliva secretion, replenishes moisture in the mouth, and provides lubrication to relieve dryness in the oral cavity and throat. It contains sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride hydrate, and magnesium chloride hydrate-mineral salts naturally present in the human body-as its main ingredients. Its gel formulation offers longer-lasting effects compared to spray-type products.
It can be used by people of all ages who experience dry mouth. For each use, an appropriate amount (about half the size of a peanut) should be placed on the tip of the tongue and spread evenly over the palate and throughout the mouth without swallowing. The product is available in a portable 30g package, making it convenient for repeated use several times a day whenever dryness occurs.
