The Open Lab Festa is a participatory research experience program in which graduate school laboratories directly operate booths to introduce their research topics, experimental equipment, and research achievements.

Undergraduate students visit various research labs on campus, participate in hands-on experiences, and freely consult with senior graduate students about the graduate school application process and research life.

Now in its third year, the event featured a variety of programs, including graduate school admissions counseling, research lab experience booths, lectures by university faculty, special talks by distinguished guests (former Supreme Court Justice Kim Youngran and former Constitutional Court President Moon Hyungbae), and the Open Lab Festa Stamp Tour.

More than 50 research labs participated in the event, covering fields such as AI, biohealth, semiconductors, biomedical sciences, and the humanities and social sciences.

Graduate students who operated the booths directly introduced the research process to undergraduates, forming mentor-mentee networks, while undergraduates enjoyed experiencing research culture through the "Lab Exploration Certification System (Stamp Tour)."

Lee Jaedong, Dean of the Graduate School, stated, "The Open Lab Festa, where undergraduates can directly experience research labs, is an important starting point for promoting graduate school enrollment and cultivating research talent. Through this event, we aim to identify creative research talent early on and further strengthen the foundation for innovation in graduate education."
