The festival's signature program, 'Making Kimchi at Home,' is a pre-registration event that sells out quickly every year. This year, all 370 available spots were filled early in the registration period, once again demonstrating its popularity.
At the festival site, a variety of hands-on programs will be offered, including a kimchi sales zone selling whole heads of kimchi, the 'Kimchi Golden Bell' quiz to test your knowledge about kimchi, the 'Show Me the Kimjang' competition for fast and fun kimchi mixing, and the 'Kimchi Arcade' for enjoyable experiences.
There will also be various food booths featuring dishes made with kimchi and bossam, a '1,000 Won Makgeolli' booth where visitors can sample makgeolli produced in Jinan for just 1,000 won, and a barbecue tasting event featuring the festival's signature menu, all designed to delight visitors' taste buds.
