After finishing first in the regular season for the second consecutive year, Hwacheon KSPO secured a direct ticket to the 2025 WK League Championship Final early on.
Hwacheon KSPO already gained an advantage for the championship throne by defeating Seoul City Hall 3-2 in the first leg of the final, held at the Seoul World Cup Auxiliary Stadium on November 8.
This season, Hwacheon KSPO recorded 16 wins, 9 draws, and 3 losses (57 points) in 28 matches, finishing at the top of the regular season standings.
With 56 goals scored in the regular season, Hwacheon KSPO led the league in scoring, and their team identity is characterized by an aggressive, attacking style of football.
If Hwacheon KSPO clinches the 2025 WK League championship, they will achieve a 'treble'-winning three major titles in one year-having already secured victories at the 24th National Women's Football Championship and the 106th National Sports Festival.
Last year, Hwacheon KSPO also went straight to the championship final as the regular season leader, but finished as runners-up after losing to Suwon FC Women, who advanced through the playoffs.
This championship final is a chance for Hwacheon KSPO to avenge last year's disappointment and serves as the final hurdle toward a perfect season.
In Hwacheon, a spirited home crowd is expected to support the team during the second leg of the championship final.
Residents, students, and military personnel are set to gather at Hwacheon Sports Park on November 15 to passionately cheer on the players.
