Chonnam National University Hospital's Donghoon Lee Receives 'Resuscitation Medicine Award' at Academic Conference

View original imageChonnam National University Hospital announced on November 12 that Professor Donghoon Lee of the Department of Emergency Medicine has received the highest honor, the 'Resuscitation Medicine Award,' at the 2025 Autumn Conference of the Korean Society of Emergency Medicine, held recently at the Swiss Grand Hotel Seoul.
The Resuscitation Medicine Award is presented annually by the Korean Association of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and the Korean Society of Emergency Medicine to researchers who have achieved outstanding academic accomplishments and made significant contributions to clinical advancements in the field of resuscitation medicine. At this conference, Professor Lee was honored with the award, receiving a certificate and a prize of 5 million won.
Professor Lee has devoted many years to research aimed at improving survival rates and minimizing brain damage in cardiac arrest patients. He has been highly recognized for his contributions to the advancement of resuscitation medicine by publishing numerous high-quality papers in leading domestic and international journals in the field of post-cardiac arrest care.
Additionally, Professor Lee has played a major role in clinical practice by improving initial response and treatment protocols for critically ill emergency patients and cardiac arrest patients at the Regional Emergency Medical Center of Chonnam National University Hospital, as well as mentoring junior colleagues.
