Hyundai Motor Executive Vice President Jung Sungwon Receives Presidential Award at Korea Design Award: "Elevated Brand Value"

Jung Sungwon, Executive Vice President and Head of Brand Marketing Division at Hyundai Motor Company, has been awarded the Presidential Award at the Korea Design Award in recognition of his contributions to enhancing both Hyundai Motor Company and the K-Brand image.
On November 12, Hyundai Motor Company announced that Jung received the Presidential Commendation in the Design Contribution category at the 27th Korea Design Award ceremony, which was held at the COEX Grand Conference Room in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The Korea Design Award is a government honor hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion. The award recognizes outstanding companies, local governments, and individuals who have contributed to the advancement of the national economy through design development, management, and promotion, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of Korea's design industry.
The judging panel stated that Jung was selected for this award in recognition of his significant role as the leader of Hyundai Motor Company's global marketing, elevating the images of both Hyundai Motor Company and K-Brand in the global market.

This year, the company won five awards, including the Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the world's most prestigious advertising festival. Most recently, at the "2025 Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design," one of the world's top three design awards, Hyundai Motor Company won one Grand Prize and six Main Prizes, further proving its competitiveness in brand communication.
