GLEC Wins CES 2026 Innovation Award, Leading Digital Transformation in the Logistics Industry
Innovating Freight Truck Safety and Carbon Management with AI and LLM Technology
Enabling Data-Driven Decision-Making
GLEC Inc. (Co-CEOs Kim Eunwoo and Kang Deokho) is leading the digital transformation of the logistics industry by winning the Innovation Award at the world’s largest IT exhibition, CES 2026, with its AI-powered logistics innovation solution.
On November 6, GLEC announced that its "GLEC AI Tachograph (DTG)" was selected as an Honoree in the Supply & Logistics category of the CES Innovation Awards® 2026. The CES Innovation Awards, organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), are globally recognized awards selected through a rigorous evaluation process based on technological innovation.
The logistics industry has traditionally been considered slow to adopt digital transformation. GLEC has developed a solution to overcome these limitations using AI and data technology. The GLEC AI Tachograph is equipped with a large language model with 20 billion parameters installed on an in-vehicle device, enabling real-time analysis of driving data and providing actionable insights.
The product integrates CAN protocol data, GPS information, and real-time traffic conditions using its proprietary Vehicle Context Protocol (VCP) technology. The AI model, trained on data from high-accident freight truck zones, provides drivers with both audio and visual warnings of potential dangers, reducing accident risk by 20 to 40 percent.
At the same time, it automatically measures carbon emissions using the ISO-14083 international standard methodology and generates regulatory reports through the GLEC API. Logistics companies can monitor driver performance, vehicle efficiency, and environmental impact in real time via an integrated dashboard, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Ji Jaewon, Head of Operations Planning, stated, "Digital transformation in the logistics industry goes beyond simple automation; data-driven optimization is key. We aim to lead industry innovation with a solution that simultaneously improves safety, efficiency, and environmental performance through AI technology."
GLEC is a logistics technology company specializing in the development of AI-based digital tachograph systems, API-based carbon calculation platforms, and the cloud-based Logistics Carbon Accounting Management System (LCAMS). The company measures carbon emissions using the ISO-14083 methodology and is the first in Korea to pursue GLEC Tool certification from the Smart Freight Centre, an international logistics decarbonization organization.
The company will officially participate as an exhibitor at the CES 2026 Innovation Awards Showcase in Las Vegas in January 2026, displaying its award-winning product.
