Bomb Threat Posted at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido... Police Search Finds "No Suspicious Items"
The police conducted a search after a post claiming that an explosive device had been installed at "The Hyundai Seoul," a department store located in Yeouido, Seoul, was uploaded online. However, no suspicious objects believed to be explosives were found.
According to the Yeongdeungpo Police Station on November 9, a post was uploaded earlier that day on the online community "DC Inside," stating that an explosive device had been installed at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. The police received a 112 emergency call and responded to the scene.
Starting at around 11:00 a.m., the police, together with The Hyundai Seoul security staff, conducted a partial search for about an hour and a half, focusing on restrooms and other locations where it would be easy to install explosives. As a result of the search, no objects suspected to be explosives were found.

The police determined that there were no unusual findings and withdrew from the scene. It was reported that officers from the local police station are currently stationed at the site as a precaution.
