Jung Shin-ah, CEO of Kakao, stated during the third-quarter preliminary earnings conference call held on November 7, "Based on user feedback, we will continue to improve our services, including the scheduled revamp of the Friends tab starting in the fourth quarter."
CEO Jung emphasized, "The recent KakaoTalk update was the largest since the service launched 15 years ago, and users have shared a wide range of opinions. We plan to gradually introduce various customized convenience features while also actively enhancing the core messaging experience."
She added, "Including the fourth quarter and looking ahead to 2026, Kakao will humbly listen to and consider user feedback, enhance service stability, and continue business growth through platform innovation."
