Yeongcheon City and the Yeongcheon Branch of the Korea Photographers Association announced on November 5 that they have selected 40 winning entries for the "18th Yeongcheon Tourism National Photo Contest 2025," which featured various local tourist attractions as its subjects.
This contest was held under the theme "A New Yeongcheon: Capture the Future of Yeongcheon City in Photographs," aiming to discover works that showcase new possibilities for Yeongcheon.
The contest period ran from April 1 to October 22, and a total of 182 works were submitted, featuring beautiful landscapes and diverse tourist destinations set against the backdrop of Yeongcheon's four seasons.
The city is utilizing the winning entries to produce tourism promotional materials such as guide maps and calendars. This year's winning works are scheduled for a monthly traveling exhibition at major tourist sites and high-traffic facilities in the city in 2026.
