Suspect in 'Redevelopment Office Knife Attack' Expresses Intention to Forgo Warrant Review
It has been confirmed that Mr. Cho (66), who committed a knife attack at the redevelopment association office in Cheonho-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, will not attend the pre-arrest suspect interrogation (warrant review).
According to the Gangdong Police Station in Seoul, Mr. Cho expressed his intention to forgo attending the warrant review scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on November 6 at the Seoul Eastern District Court.
Mr. Cho is accused of wielding a weapon at around 10:20 a.m. on November 4 at the office of a street housing maintenance project association in Cheonho-dong, Gangdong-gu, resulting in the death or serious injury of three association members.
A woman in her 60s, identified as Ms. A, fled the building while bleeding, but Mr. Cho chased after her and attempted to continue the attack before being subdued by passing citizens and subsequently apprehended by the police.

Among the victims, a woman in her 50s passed away on the afternoon of the previous day. The other two victims are reportedly recovering in the hospital.
