Visitors to Ulju Taehwagang Ecological Center's 'Mulbit Playground' Double Within a Month of Opening
Interactive Media Art Exhibition Receives Enthusiastic Response from Family Visitors
The Taehwagang Ecological Center in Ulju County, Ulsan, has seen great popularity with its newly opened media art exhibition space, 'Mulbit Playground,' which launched on October 1.
On November 6, Ulju County announced, "Since the opening of Mulbit Playground, the number of visitors to the Taehwagang Ecological Center has increased by approximately 92% compared to the previous month."
The number of visitors, which was 6,137 in September, rose to 11,804 in October.

View original image'Mulbit Playground' is an interactive media art space located on the first floor of the Taehwagang Ecological Center's exhibition building, offering a variety of digital content themed around water and ecology.
From the entrance, visitors are greeted with an immersive experience as if entering underwater. Inside, they can enjoy environmental content where they use a toy hammer to remove trash from polluted river water, purifying it into a clean river.
Deeper inside the exhibition hall, a large ball pit-popular among children-has been installed. When balls are thrown at the wall projection, various interactive responses occur. Two themed videos are shown: one featuring fish, migratory birds, and otters inhabiting the Taehwagang River, and another inspired by animals depicted in the Banguchun petroglyphs.
In addition, programs that combine play and interactive experiences-such as a gym ball stepping stone course, AR face filters, and a triangular kaleidoscope-are receiving positive feedback from visitors.

An official from Ulju County stated, "We have introduced new exhibits for children visiting the Taehwagang Ecological Center," and added, "We hope that 'Mulbit Playground' will become a space that brings both joy and learning to children."
