She said, "With the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family being renamed as the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the former Women and Family Committee has also been renamed as the National Assembly Gender Equality and Family Committee. These changes are bringing significant transformations to our society, and women are at the forefront of driving these changes."
She went on to emphasize the value of solidarity among women, as exemplified by the Women Leaders Forum. "Having attended The Asia Business Daily's Women Leaders Forum last year and again this year, I am pleased to see it has grown even richer. The presence of many female lawmakers and women leaders makes this event even more meaningful," she said. "I am truly grateful that women are coming together to empathize with the warmth of their hearts amidst these enormous changes. I will do my utmost to support what I can in the National Assembly," she added.
She also expressed her support for the theme of this year's forum, "Women, Lead the Great Transformation." Lee said, "As the current chair of the National Assembly AI Forum, I am exploring many ways for women to work alongside AI. In that sense, I believe the forum's theme of 'great transformation' is very well chosen. I hope this forum will serve as a platform for us to seek out such paths together."
