Woori Investment & Securities Achieves No.1 Five-Year Return in Individual IRP Principal Non-Guaranteed Products
5-Year Average Annual Return of 7.41% for Principal Non-Guaranteed IRP
Over 5% Annualized Return for 10 Consecutive Quarters
Woori Investment & Securities has achieved the highest five-year return in the industry for individual retirement pension (IRP) principal non-guaranteed products, maintaining its position as a top performer.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service's Integrated Pension Portal disclosure, as of the third quarter of this year, the five-year average annual return for Woori Investment & Securities' individual IRP principal non-guaranteed products was 7.41%, ranking first among securities companies offering retirement pension products in terms of long-term returns.
In the third quarter of this year, the one-year return for individual IRP principal non-guaranteed products was 17.7%. Woori Investment & Securities achieved the highest one-year return among securities firms in five out of the past seven quarters, and has maintained an annualized return of over 5% for ten consecutive quarters, actively supporting customers in building stable assets over the long term.
This achievement comes just five years after Woori Investment & Securities entered the IRP market, and is seen as a contribution to customers' stable retirement asset preparation despite high market volatility and uncertainty.
This success is attributed to the company's swift establishment of services that enable long-term compound interest investment, leveraging digital-based customized service offerings, a diversified investment strategy focused on global growth assets, and a low-cost management structure. Woori Investment & Securities provides differentiated services to enhance long-term returns for individual IRP customers, including: a lineup of 1,230 diverse funds; expansion of strategic asset allocation products; waiver of asset and management fees for all IRP accounts; and application of low fund sales fees based on S-Class standards (about one-third the level of offline fees).
A representative from Woori Investment & Securities stated, "Retirement pensions are a core asset for customers' secure futures, and long-term compound returns over 10 or 20 years are the true measure of competitiveness, rather than short-term yields. We will continue to focus on enhancing customers' future value through differentiated product competitiveness and innovative platform advancement."
Woori Investment & Securities' differentiated pension products can be accessed through the company's 'Woori WON MTS' platform, and with ongoing enhancements, AI-based customized asset management features and integrated pension investment support functions are scheduled to be launched in December.
Currently, Woori Investment & Securities is running an IRP and pension savings net increase event through December 31 of this year to help customers prepare for retirement and receive tax-saving benefits during the year-end tax settlement season. Any individual customer of Woori Investment & Securities can participate, and account balances must be maintained until January 31 of next year after the event ends.
