Kyungdongwon Unveils Premium Fire Door "Safe Door Plus"
Participating in KAFF 2025
Showcasing Integrated Fire-Resistant Insulation Solutions
Kyungdongwon announced on November 5 that it will participate in the Korea Architecture Industry Fair 2025 (KAFF 2025), hosted by the Korea Institute of Registered Architects and organized by COEX, to showcase its differentiated integrated fire-resistant insulation solutions.
From November 5 to 7, Kyungdongwon will exhibit a wide range of solutions at COEX Hall B that simultaneously satisfy building fire safety and insulation performance requirements. The products on display include: ▲ the high-performance fire door with six composite functions, "Safe Door"; ▲ the board-type semi-noncombustible urethane insulation "Safe Board"; ▲ the spray foam-type "Safe Foam"; ▲ the core semi-noncombustible urethane sandwich panel "Safe Panel"; and ▲ the fire-resistant coating for steel frames, "Escort."
In particular, the company will unveil the third-generation premium fire door, Safe Door Plus, at the exhibition. Safe Door Plus uses semi-noncombustible urethane, which results in less deformation and greater durability over long-term use compared to conventional fire doors, and features enhanced insulation performance, making it suitable for zero-energy buildings. In addition, with its composite fire-resistant performance, Safe Door Plus recently received the "Quality Certificate for Fire Doors" from the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology.
