Pocheon City Hosts Meeting with Golf Course CEOs to Explore Directions for Mutual Cooperation
On November 3, Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province held a meeting at the Pocheon City Hall administrative meeting room with the CEOs of 12 golf courses in the area to discuss mutual development between the city and local golf courses.

View original imageThis meeting was organized to explore directions for mutual cooperation aimed at revitalizing the local economy and advancing the golf industry. More than 20 people attended, including Baek Younghyun, Mayor of Pocheon, the President of the Pocheon Sports Council, the CEO of the Pocheon Agricultural Foundation, and the CEOs of the local golf courses. Participants discussed various collaborative measures, such as creating local jobs, expanding the use of local agricultural products, and increasing discounts on green fees and cart fees for residents.
The golf course CEOs stated, "Taking this meeting as an opportunity, we will further strengthen cooperation with the local community and actively promote support for the sale of local agricultural products and increased support for athletes participating in the Gyeonggi Provincial Sports Festival."
Baek Younghyun, Mayor of Pocheon, said, "The golf industry accounts for a significant portion of the local economy," and added, "The city and the golf courses will work together to create a sustainable development model that enables mutual growth with the local community."
