Deloitte Korea Provides Tailored Support for Global Companies with SOC Attestation Report Services
Emerging Technology Sectors Including AI, Blockchain, and Cloud
The audit division of Deloitte Korea Group announced on November 4 that it continues to support companies in issuing SOC attestation reports through its TPA services, and is actively responding to the growing demand in emerging technology sectors such as artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain.
SOC attestation reports are an international certification system that verifies a company’s security and internal control frameworks. In particular, SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) reports are often mandatory in contracts with overseas clients. In global markets, including the United States, it has become standard practice to require the submission of a SOC 2 certificate in advance in order to objectively verify the control and security levels of service providers.
Recently, the proliferation of new technology-based services such as AI, blockchain, and cloud computing has led to a significant increase in demand for SOC 2 certification, ranging from domestic startups to global subsidiaries and large corporations operating overseas services. There have been numerous cases where the absence of an SOC attestation report has resulted in contract delays or disruptions in service launches.
Deloitte Korea Group goes beyond general service and solution areas to support the issuance of SOC reports even in new technology sectors such as AI, blockchain, and cloud computing. By providing optimized attestation reports tailored to each company’s status and needs, the group helps businesses preparing to enter overseas markets smoothly meet global requirements.
