Based on the high level of interest and satisfaction among travelers, the city will add a total of three additional sessions (six teams) on November 21-22, November 28-29, and December 5-6. This fall and winter, a journey along the tranquil paths of Iksan awaits both citizens and tourists, offering an opportunity for inner reflection.
This year's Seongji Hyeyumgil Diaroun Iksan Travel program featured four major religious and cultural heritage sites-Won Buddhism Central Headquarters, Mireuksaji, Dudong Church, and Nabawi Catholic Church-linked with local attractions such as Agape Garden and Gosrak.
Participants healed their minds through pilgrimage, meditation, and leisurely walks, while also experiencing the historical and cultural depth of Iksan. Notably, this year saw a significant increase in participants under the age of 50, with more families and young people joining, establishing the program as a healing journey that spans generations.
Building on this success, the city plans to continue expanding its stay-type healing programs that combine religious and cultural heritage with tourism content. Through these efforts, Iksan aims to become a nationwide hub for healing journeys.
