Korea Western Power to Support Women's Venture Startups and Growth... Signs MOU to Create Mutual Growth Ecosystem
Korea Western Power announced on November 5 that it recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Women Venture Association to create an ecosystem for women's venture startup, growth, and mutual coexistence.
The Korea Women Venture Association, established in 1998, is a non-profit organization with over 1,500 member companies nationwide. It is engaged in supporting the startup and growth of women-led venture businesses, protecting their rights and interests, improving policies, and facilitating technology commercialization.
Korea Western Power and the Korea Women Venture Association have agreed to cooperate in promoting women's entrepreneurship and fostering promising ventures with global competitiveness, in line with the new government's national agenda to make Korea one of the world's top four global venture powerhouses.
Through this agreement, Korea Western Power and the association will work together on: ▲ nurturing and supporting the commercialization of women-led ventures and startups ▲ identifying mutual growth programs and strengthening environmental, social, and governance (ESG) capabilities ▲ creating energy technology innovations and new business models ▲ revitalizing the women's venture ecosystem.

In particular, the company will actively share and open both tangible and intangible resources and capabilities it possesses-such as power generation-related information, unused patents, and its network of partner organizations-to promote joint research and development of innovative technologies and to create new energy businesses utilizing power generation big data.
