As the club owner, Governor Kim Jintae visited the stadium a day before the match, inspecting the locker room, warm-up zone, and away supporters' section to ensure there were no shortcomings and urged the staff to provide full support to the team.
Head coach Jeong Kyungho expressed his gratitude, saying, "Every player takes the field with 'Gangwon' in their hearts," and added, "We will do our best to meet the expectations and support of the residents and fans."
Kim Siseong, Chairman of the Provincial Council, stated, "Tomorrow, more than 500 supporters will fill the away section and cheer at the top of their lungs," and encouraged the players, saying, "We will cheer passionately, so don't be intimidated and give it your all."

Meanwhile, Gangwon FC has advanced to the AFC Champions League stage for the first time since its founding and is scheduled to play its fourth group stage match against Sanfrecce Hiroshima at 7:00 p.m. on the 4th at Edion Peace Wing Stadium in Hiroshima, Japan.
