Man in His 70s Dies After Self-Immolation at Busan Station Plaza
An incident occurred at Busan Station Plaza in which a man in his 70s set himself on fire and died.
According to the Busan Dongbu Police Station, at approximately 2:25 p.m. on November 3, a man poured a flammable substance on himself and set himself on fire at Busan Station Plaza in Dong-gu, Busan. Although citizens nearby extinguished the flames with a fire extinguisher, the man died at the scene.
The police immediately set up a police line and controlled access to the site. They are currently investigating the exact circumstances by analyzing nearby CCTV footage and collecting witness statements.
