SH Partners with Seodaemun District to Expand Public Redevelopment Projects

View original imageOn November 2, Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH) announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Seodaemun District to expand public redevelopment projects within the district and to promote the successful implementation of these projects through mutual cooperation.
This agreement aims to foster collaboration between the public corporation and the local government to improve residential environments and promote balanced regional development through urban renewal. The two organizations will establish a close cooperative system to revitalize redevelopment projects within Seodaemun District and to enhance their public value and efficiency.
Through this partnership, the organizations will formulate strategies and implementation plans for urban and residential environment improvement, provide administrative support such as consultations with relevant agencies and securing permits necessary for project execution, and offer information, materials, and administrative assistance required for redevelopment projects within the district.
Currently, SH is promoting public redevelopment projects in Hong-eun 1, Yeonhui 2, and Chungjeongno 1 within Seodaemun District, and plans to participate as a joint project operator in the Hongje Station area revitalization project. Public redevelopment projects are expected to be fully launched in a total of four areas within Seodaemun District.
