[Gyeongju APEC] Xi Jinping: "AI Is Crucial for Future Development... Let's Bridge the Digital Divide Together"
Xi Jinping, President of China, stated on November 1 that "Artificial intelligence (AI) holds significant importance for future development," adding, "China wishes to work together with Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) member countries to bridge the digital divide in the Asia-Pacific region."
According to Xinhua News Agency, President Xi made these remarks during the second session of the APEC summit, held under the theme "Asia-Pacific Vision Prepared for Future Change" at the Gyeongju HwaBaek Convention Center on the same day.
