On October 30, the Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority announced that President Kim Seokgu held a retirement ceremony that day in the Harmony Room on the 9th floor of the Pyeongtaek Port Marine Center.
The ceremony was attended by executives, employees, and officials from related organizations, who expressed their gratitude by reflecting on President Kim Seokgu's dedication and achievements during his tenure.
President Kim Seokgu is credited with achieving various results to strengthen the competitiveness of Pyeongtaek Port and advance the marine industry in Gyeonggi Province during his time in office.

View original imageIn particular, he successfully led the authority's core projects, including securing new growth engines such as the Phase 2-3 development of the Pyeongtaek Port hinterland complex and the integrated maintenance dredging project for the liquid cargo terminal; promoting RE100 initiatives such as the hydrogen mobility business and the introduction of eco-friendly port pilot boats; and expanding the foundation of the marine leisure and tourism industry, represented by the Jebu Marina and Turtle Island Marina.

In his farewell address, President Kim Seokgu said, "Thanks to the efforts of all the staff who worked together, I believe we have secured sustainable revenue sources and expanded the organization, driving the authority's future growth.
