Scheduled for Completion in October Next Year
A New Cultural Landmark Symbolizing Daegaya
Goryeong County in North Gyeongsang Province held a demonstration event for the 'Music Fountain' installed at Hoecheon Bridge in Daegaya-eup.
With completion scheduled for October next year, the fountain features a total of 82 jets that create a spectacular display of lights, blending with music and vibrant LED illumination. The site is drawing attention as a potential new nighttime attraction in the region.
The Music Fountain, built with a total project cost of 4.1 billion KRW, is part of the 'Daegaya Cultural Waterway (Hoecheon) Improvement Project.' Measuring 70 meters in length and 35 meters in width, the fountain is centered around a main feature shaped like a mountain, which shoots water up to 50 meters high. Surrounding it are a variety of 82 fountains, including the Gayageum Fountain, Azalea Fountain, Daegaya Royal Tomb Fountain, and Paulownia Fountain, all harmoniously expressing the history and symbolism of Daegaya.
At night, visitors can enjoy a captivating show of lights and water choreographed to various genres of music, including classical, trot, and popular songs, enhanced by LED lighting. The show is expected to provide both inspiration and enjoyment to spectators.
