The On-site Internship Experience Essay Contest serves as an information hub for on-site internships, as students who participated in regular semester as well as summer and winter on-site internship semesters share their internship activities, roles, lessons learned, career exploration, and employment connection strategies.
By systematically organizing their internship experiences, participating students can reuse them as materials for resumes, self-introduction letters, and portfolios during their job search. Through this process, they can concretize their practical skills and effectively enhance their competitiveness in the job market.
For this contest, students who participated in the long-term on-site internship during the first semester of the 2025 academic year and the short-term summer on-site internship submitted their essays. After a review process, the following winners were selected.
The awardees are as follows: Grand Prize - Lee Chanhee (Department of Computer Engineering); Excellence Award - Kim Yeonsu (Department of Electrical and Information Engineering), Yoo Jeongmin (Department of Materials Science and Engineering); Merit Award - Park Suyeon (Major in Environmental Engineering), Park Changhyeon (Department of MSDE), Kim Yesong (Department of Safety Engineering); Encouragement Award - Shim Gyumin (Department of Electrical and Information Engineering) and 19 others.
Jung Hoyoun, Head of the On-site Internship Support Center, congratulated the winners and held a discussion session to share internship experiences and explore ways to improve future programs.
