Ansan to Offer Additional 5% Cashback on Local Currency During Korea Grand Festival
On October 28, the city of Ansan in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will offer a 5% cashback benefit to users of its local currency, "Daon," during the government-led consumption promotion event, the "2025 Korea Grand Festival."
This year's Korea Grand Festival will be held for 12 days, from October 29 to November 9.
For three days, from the festival's opening on October 29 through October 31, payments made with "Daon" will be eligible for a total cashback benefit of 15%, combining the regular October cashback of 10% with an additional 5% festival cashback.
The cashback is provided in real time at the moment of payment and can be checked immediately through the Gyeonggi Local Currency App. The maximum cashback payout is 30,000 won, and the validity period is five years.
The cashback benefit applies only to payments made with the user's own recharged funds. It does not apply to incentive payments, policy allowances, or livelihood recovery consumption coupons.
