Atom Registered as Tier 1 Vendor for Korea-Based Global Automotive Parts Manufacturer After 3 Years and 8 Months of Effort
KOSDAQ-listed company Atom announced on October 28 that it has been officially registered as a Tier 1 vendor for a global finished vehicle parts manufacturer based in Korea. This marks a significant achievement, coming three years and eight months after the start of partnership discussions in March 2022.
Originally established in the IT industry, Atom boldly entered the electric vehicle market in 2021, recognizing its growth potential. However, the company faced numerous challenges due to the industry’s high technological barriers and stringent quality certifications.
Despite these obstacles, Atom leveraged its own research and development capabilities to overcome difficulties. Ongoing technical cooperation and support from the global automotive parts manufacturer also played a major role in accelerating these achievements.
With this vendor registration, Atom will now actively participate in the core electric vehicle parts supply chain. Industry experts anticipate that Atom’s strong technological credibility will not only lead to diversification of existing products, but also drive the development of various new products and the expansion of new projects.
