'Hwaseong Jazz Festival' to Be Held at Hyangnam Dowon Sports Park on November 1
The '2025 Hwaseong Jazz Festival' will be held at Hyangnam Dowon Sports Park in Hyangnam-eup, Hwaseong, on November 1.
This festival is the first jazz music event hosted by Hwaseong City.
At the festival, jazz vocalist Woongsan will present performances that cross over not only traditional jazz but also rock, blues, Latin, pop, and Korean traditional music.
The performances will also feature a live show by Kim Bokyung, vocalist of Neon Band, and gospel and soul music by Baki (Heritage).
The festival will open with 'Joep van Rijn Lime,' an ensemble active on major local jazz stages, who will introduce music that blurs the boundaries between reality and imagination, fact and fiction, using a variety of instruments including flugelhorn, tenor saxophone, double bass, and percussion.
