Uijeongbu City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Donggeun) successfully held the "2025 Uijeongbu City Job Fair" at the Uijeongbu City Education Foundation Healing Center on the 23rd.

View original imageThis job fair was hosted and organized by the city, with the Uijeongbu Employment and Labor Office of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, Gyeonggi Job Foundation, Uijeongbu City Business Support Center, Gyeonggi Northern Veterans Support Center, Kyungmin University, Shinhan University, and Daejin University participating as partner organizations.
In addition, more than 40 companies, including Hanwha Veruscoop Creamery, Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital, and KD Transportation Group, participated in the event, setting up on-site recruitment booths and conducting direct interviews with job seekers.
At the venue, a variety of employment support services were provided in addition to company interviews, including 1:1 customized career counseling, resume and cover letter consulting, and image making. The event hall also featured a range of programs such as special lectures by prominent speakers, aptitude tests, tarot card experiences, and promotions of job-related systems and policies, all of which received a strong response from job seekers.
Approximately 1,200 job seekers, including young people and middle-aged to senior citizens, participated in this job fair, demonstrating a high level of enthusiasm. A total of about 350 people took part in on-site interviews, with 9 individuals being hired on the spot. Additionally, 75 candidates passed the first round of interviews and will proceed to the second round to determine their final hiring status. For those not hired, continuous employment support services will be provided through "Goyong24."
