[Weather] Cool Late Autumn Temperatures... 11 Degrees in Seoul on the Way to Work
On October 24, cool late autumn weather is expected across the country. Due to the influence of a high-pressure system located in northern China, most regions nationwide will see clear skies, though cloud cover will increase in the afternoon. Morning lows will range from 8 to 15 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will be between 13 and 24 degrees, which is similar to or slightly higher than average for this time of year.
In Seoul, the morning low will be 11 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures rising to 20 degrees. In Busan, temperatures are expected to range from 15 to 23 degrees. Rain is forecast for the Yeongdong region of Gangwon and the east coast of North Gyeongsang Province, with sporadic showers also expected in Busan and Ulsan. In northern Yeongdong, Gangwon, rain may continue into the early morning of October 25.
Rainfall amounts are expected to reach 20 to 80 millimeters in Yeongdong, Gangwon (over 100 millimeters in the northern part), 10 to 50 millimeters in Ulleungdo and Dokdo, 5 to 20 millimeters along the east coast and northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang Province, and around 5 millimeters in Busan and Ulsan.
