Lego Group Unveils "Lego Tropical Aquarium" Targeting Home Decor Enthusiasts
Launching on November 16
Lego Group announced on October 23 that it will launch the "Lego Tropical Aquarium" on November 16.
This new product is designed as a display aquarium that can be enjoyed without water, catering to the growing "home decorating" trend among adults. Using a total of 4,154 bricks, it recreates a large aquarium filled with a variety of marine life such as tropical fish, coral reefs, and shells.
Each element of the set can be arranged freely, allowing users to create their own unique aquarium. The set enables the creation of an ecosystem featuring four fish-including a rainbowfish and an angelfish-along with various aquatic plants, corals, and a shell holding a pearl, all representing Lego marine life. Air bubbles can also be depicted.
The set includes a mechanism that vividly simulates the movement of marine creatures. By turning a hidden handle, users can make the fish swim and the corals sway, just like in a real aquarium. Additional features that spark curiosity include a treasure chest with an openable lid and a crab hidden beneath a rock.
