This mock interview program is a practical, hands-on initiative in which the interview team of the Gangwon College Admission Support Center's counseling teachers and regional college admission specialists participate together. It is designed to prepare students for both document-based and prompt-based interviews.

The mock interviews for boarding-type base high schools will be held on October 18 in the Donghae region, October 25 in the Sokcho-Yangyang region, and November 22 in the Cheorwon region.

For city and county areas, the mock interviews will be held starting with the Gangneung region on October 11, followed by the Wonju region on October 19 and the Chuncheon region on November 1. In county areas, the program will visit 13 schools starting from October 27 to provide mock interview support.

The interview teams consist of teachers with professional expertise, who analyze each student's school records in advance to create individually tailored questions. For the prompt-based interviews, actual university past exam questions and questions developed by the Gangwon College Admission Support Center are used, enabling students to practice in an environment similar to real interviews.

For students preparing for college entrance in various environments who may find it difficult to participate in person, online mock interviews will also be offered.

The online program will be held twice, on the 22nd and November 12th, targeting a total of 120 students, with 60 students participating in each session.

In the online mock interview, two interviewers will conduct the session for one student at a time, and both document-based and prompt-based interviews will be available upon application.

Each school will operate interview classes through the S-Gonghak program, while the Gangwon College Admission Support Center will strive to replicate the actual interview environment as closely as possible so that students can gain experience and prepare in advance. This is the core purpose of the mock interview program: to enhance students' practical interview skills.

Additionally, a teacher-mentee program will be run in parallel, providing hands-on training in the interview evaluation program and consulting based on evaluation results, thereby strengthening teachers' expertise in interview guidance.

To this end, the interview team of the Gangwon College Admission Support Center and the college admission specialists will directly observe the interview sites, inputting and analyzing interview evaluation results into the newly introduced interview evaluation program for 2025.

Based on these results, interview guidance consulting will be provided, offering a practical opportunity to enhance teachers' interview guidance capabilities.

Superintendent Shin Kyungho stated, "As the influence of interviews in college admissions continues to grow, we will further professionalize and support the Interview Academy to enhance the interview skills of both students and teachers," adding, "I hope this mock interview program will provide practical help for students preparing for early admission and have a positive impact on their successful entrance to their desired universities."
