A total of 50 people took part in the event, including 25 members of the Changwon Junam Ecotourism Association and local residents, 20 employees from Haesung DS, and 5 staff members from the Junam Reservoir Division.
Participants began with a safety briefing and then collected litter that had been left unattended along the Dongpan Reservoir trail (from Pansin to Dongwol Village), actively joining the cleanup with the spirit of "I protect the village where I live."
Kim Jangha, president of the Changwon Junam Ecotourism Association, said, "Junam Reservoir is a representative ecological tourism site of Changwon, and the greatest strength comes when residents themselves care for the environment. We will continue these cleanup activities to keep Junam clean."
Ha Juhyung, head of Haesung DS's Changwon plant, stated, "It is meaningful to participate in local environmental cleanup activities as part of our company's ESG management. As a partner in environmental conservation, we will continue to work with the local community to protect the environment."
