This relocation is due to the transformation of the existing Nodutdol Government Building into the Citizen Health and Sports Center.
The new center will be established by purchasing a newly constructed building at 227-1 Cheolsan-dong, near City Hall. The building has five above-ground floors and a total floor area of 453 square meters. The city will invest a total of 4,168.8 million won in the project, with construction scheduled to begin in the first half of next year and the opening planned for the second half.
The city plans to equip the new center with counseling rooms, art and group therapy rooms, lecture rooms, offices, and waiting areas, all designed to meet the needs of young people. In particular, the city intends to actively incorporate feedback from the Youth Foundation, experts, and youth themselves during the design process.
