On October 20, the Gumi Police Station in North Gyeongsang Province presented a letter of appreciation to Park Sungwoo, an LG Display employee in his 30s, who dramatically rescued a citizen attempting to jump from the Namgumi Bridge.

View original imageOn the afternoon of October 6, while crossing the Namgumi Bridge, Park Sungwoo noticed a suicide attempter sitting on the bridge railing. He immediately called 112 and, before the police arrived, held onto the individual and brought them back inside the bridge, saving a precious life.
The police, who responded quickly to the scene, were able to safely rescue the suicide attempter thanks to Park Sungwoo's cooperation. The individual was then taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
