"Noah's Day" is an event organized to express gratitude to organizations and individuals who have shown love and care for the facility and its residents throughout the year. On this day, seven members and two staff from the Daejin University Social Service Group, along with eleven members from the Pocheon City Community Chest of Korea Volunteer Group, took part in the event.
The event featured a variety of performances prepared by the residents of Noah's House, including taekwondo demonstrations, songs, and skits, delivering warm laughter and touching moments. After the performances, the social service group members spent meaningful time interacting and communicating directly with the residents.
One participating member of the social service group shared, "I used to view people with disabilities solely as recipients of service, but through this event, I actually received greater comfort myself. I hope to continue learning the true meaning of sharing through various volunteer activities in the future."
Jang Inho, Director of Student Welfare, stated, "Daejin University is committed to character education that involves supporting marginalized neighbors in the community. We will continue to provide support so that students can foster a sense of community through volunteer work."
