A Diverse Lineup at the "Youth Mike Performance"
The "Youth Mike Performance," a celebration of passion and creativity by young artists, will be held at the Byeolnan Stage in Jungang-myeon, Yanggu County, and at Park Sookeun Square in Yanggu-eup.
This event is part of the "Culture Day" program, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Regional Culture Promotion Agency. It aims to expand cultural opportunities for all citizens and to spread cultural vitality throughout local communities.
The performances will take place on the Byeolnan Stage in Jungang-myeon at 6:30 p.m. on the 24th, and at Park Sookeun Square in Yanggu-eup at 12:30 p.m. on the 25th. These events, set against Yanggu's representative cultural venues, will feature a variety of young artists from diverse genres, promising a rich and engaging experience for the audience.
On the 24th at the Byeolnan Stage in Jungang-myeon, three groups-Blank Saxophone, Lee Byunghyun Band, and Gyeongseong Club-will perform. Blank Saxophone is composed of young musicians who majored in classical music at prestigious music colleges, and they engage with the audience by performing pieces from various genres to make classical music more approachable.
Lee Byunghyun Band will deliver an acoustic performance filled with warmth and emotion, while Gyeongseong Club will present a stage that blends tradition and modernity by interpreting Korean sounds in a contemporary style.
On the 25th at Park Sookeun Square in Yanggu-eup, four groups will perform: violinist Jang Hansem, Sangsang Delivery, Tune Aid, and Nuguna Tap Dance. Jang Hansem will stimulate the audience's emotions by showcasing a range of music and performances through classical violin, while Sangsang Delivery will spark the audience's imagination with a magic show. The five-member mixed a cappella group Tune Aid will enrich the stage with beautiful harmonies, and Nuguna Tap Dance will deliver a dynamic performance by combining tap dance with mime, juggling, and street dance.
