Paris Baguette Opens First Mongolian Store, 'Zaisan Square Branch'
Opening at Zaisan Square, a Prime Commercial District in Ulaanbaatar
Two Additional Stores Planned by Year-End
SPC Group announced on October 20 that its bakery brand Paris Baguette has opened its first store in Mongolia, the 'Zaisan Square Branch,' located in the capital city Ulaanbaatar.
Previously, Paris Baguette's China subsidiary signed a master franchise agreement with Foodcorp LLC, Mongolia's leading food and dining company, last year. Foodcorp is a prominent Mongolian food company with a broad business portfolio spanning manufacturing, dining, and distribution.
Mongolia is a market with strong preferences for Korean culture and brands, and its food market is demonstrating double-digit annual growth, indicating significant potential. Paris Baguette plans to quickly establish its presence in Mongolia by opening two additional stores in downtown Ulaanbaatar within this year.

Adopting a premium bakery cafe concept, the store features European-inspired interiors with herringbone-patterned wooden floors and other wood elements.
At the 'Zaisan Square Branch,' customers can enjoy classic French breads such as croissants and pain au chocolat, as well as popular items from the Chinese market like garlic baguettes and ring donuts, all crafted with Paris Baguette's unique expertise. The store also offers authentic European desserts such as eclairs and mille-feuille for tea time, and targets younger generations with premium gift items including roll cakes and castella.
A Paris Baguette representative stated, "Mongolia has high growth potential as dining-out and cafe culture are rapidly spreading, especially among younger generations. It is an important market for expanding Paris Baguette's presence in Asia," adding, "Through strategies focused on premiumization, localization, and differentiation, we aim to lead bakery culture even in Mongolia."
