Specifically, direct sales included 360 million won (7.5 tons) of ginseng and 520 million won from local agricultural products and specialty restaurants. The festival not only generated direct sales but also contributed significantly to revitalizing the local economy through the indirect spending of visitors to Paju.
Held under the slogan "Protect Your Health with Six-Year-Old Paju Gaeseong Ginseng and Clean Paju Agricultural Products!", the festival attracted visitors with a variety of programs, including the "Jangdan Sambaek National Cooking Contest" themed around Jangdan Sambaek (ginseng, soybeans, and rice), and a traditional wrestling competition. In addition, the "Youth and Teen Open Mic Festival," where young people from Paju gathered to showcase their singing and dancing talents, was also a major hit.
To enhance visitor convenience, the city provided a free delivery service from the agricultural product sales area to the parking lot, as well as a half-price parcel service allowing visitors to ship purchases from the festival site to their homes at half the usual cost. Other measures included wheelchair and stroller rentals, additional portable restrooms, and the operation of a lost child center, all aimed at maximizing visitor comfort.

Kim Kyungil, mayor of Paju, stated, "Since the festival has been operated directly by farmers and established a direct transaction structure between producers and consumers, all sales recorded at the Paju Gaeseong Ginseng Festival have gone directly to the farmers, while consumers are able to purchase six-year-old Paju Gaeseong ginseng at much more affordable prices, creating a virtuous cycle. We will prepare thoroughly again next year to make the Paju Gaeseong Ginseng Festival the representative agricultural festival of Paju City."
