Light Aircraft Makes Emergency Landing Near Uljin Airport Branch in North Gyeongsang; 2 Injured
At approximately 10:59 a.m. on October 18, a light aircraft made an emergency landing near the Uljin Airport branch office in Gusan-ri, Giseong-myeon, Uljin County, North Gyeongsang Province.
According to fire authorities and other sources, the accident involved a Cessna 172. The aircraft reportedly made an emergency landing after the front part of the plane struck the airport's perimeter wall during landing.
As a result of the accident, both the flight instructor and a student pilot-two people in total-sustained minor injuries. Both individuals managed to escape the aircraft on their own.
