GS Construction to Launch Sales of "Dorongjae Lafique" in Daejeon with 299 Units
GS Construction announced on October 17 that it plans to begin sales for "Dorongjae Lafique," which will be located in Doryong-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, later this month.
Dorongjae Lafique will consist of four buildings, ranging from three basement levels to 26 floors above ground, with a total of 299 units. The complex primarily offers medium to large-sized units with exclusive areas ranging from 84 to 175 square meters. The breakdown of units available for general sale by type is as follows: 23 units of 84㎡A, 69 units of 84㎡B, 48 units of 84㎡C, 4 units of 115㎡, 75 units of 120㎡A, 32 units of 120㎡B, 20 units of 136㎡A, 26 units of 136㎡B, and 2 penthouse units of 175㎡.
Doryong-dong is considered one of the most desirable residential areas in Daejeon. The area is home to Daedeok Research Complex, major corporate research centers, national research institutes, and government research agencies, resulting in well-established infrastructure and a steadily growing residential population.
Within walking distance are Daedeok Elementary School and Daedeok High School, as well as Daedeok Middle School and Daejeon Science High School, providing access to a strong educational environment. The area also boasts abundant educational and cultural infrastructure, as well as green spaces and parks. Its proximity to Bukdaejeon IC offers excellent access to both the Gyeongbu Expressway and Honam Expressway.
Despite the area's excellent residential infrastructure and high popularity, there have been no new housing developments in the region since 2016. The launch of Dorongjae Lafique marks the first new supply in Doryong-dong in nine years.
Unlike most of the existing developments in Doryong-dong, which are limited to 12 floors or less due to height restrictions, Dorongjae Lafique will offer views from up to 26 floors.
The complex has been designed to minimize interference between buildings and is oriented mainly to the south, ensuring ample sunlight and ventilation. Depending on the unit type, the floor plans feature four to five bays, powder rooms, entrance storage, and dressing rooms, maximizing space utilization.
The exclusive residents' community center, "Club Xi-an," will include amenities such as a fitness club, indoor golf range, sauna, study room, residents' cafe and book cafe, guest house, and private storage units for each household.

Hotel-style concierge services will also be introduced, offering a range of resident conveniences such as parcel and quick delivery reception, laundry handling, on-site car wash and maintenance, organizational and housekeeping support, as well as the rental of shared items like umbrellas and camping equipment, and the operation of a cafe and snack bar.
