Gyeonggi Fire Department to Hold 'Firefighting Industry Festival' in Suwon on the 21st
The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters will host the '1st Gyeonggi-do Firefighting Industry Festival' at Suwon Messe on October 21. The event has been organized to connect equipment and technologies used at fire scenes with industrialization.
The venue will feature an advanced firefighting special equipment demonstration zone, an equipment experience zone, a special exhibition of historical archives, and a firefighting experience area. In addition, new technology equipment such as artificial intelligence (AI) video surveillance systems, electric vehicle fire suppression equipment, and rescue drones will also be on display.
After the opening ceremony, the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters will hold a "handover ceremony" to present firefighting equipment manufactured with domestic technology to embassy officials from five countries, including Mongolia and Indonesia.
The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters plans to use this event as an opportunity for field personnel to directly evaluate equipment performance, with the results to be reflected in next year's purchases and specification improvements.
