Apartmentmentary Secures Strategic Investment from LG Electronics
Immersive Residential Solution "ImmersiveHome" Integrating Appliances, Interior Design, and AI
Joint Expansion into the Global Market
Apartmentmentary, a company specializing in apartment interiors, announced on October 16 that it has secured a strategic investment from LG Electronics. This investment is part of a strategic collaboration aimed at creating next-generation residential experiences by combining home appliances, interior design, AI, and IoT technologies. This marks Apartmentmentary's first new investment since its Series C round in 2022.
As of the first half of this year, Apartmentmentary has continued its robust growth, with the cumulative number of remodeling projects started increasing by 64.07% compared to the same period last year. During the same period, customer satisfaction (NPS) also reached a cumulative score of 56.07 points, demonstrating the company's service competitiveness.
With this investment, Apartmentmentary and LG Electronics plan to introduce "ImmersiveHome," an immersive residential solution that integrates home appliances and IoT technology from the interior planning stage. In addition, Apartmentmentary's kitchen brand "Akit" and LG Electronics' kitchen appliances will be offered as packaged products, allowing customers to receive coordinated furniture and appliances from Apartmentmentary. The goal is to integrate the previously separate purchasing and consultation processes and dramatically enhance the customer experience throughout the interior journey. Through this collaboration, LG Electronics will participate in Apartmentmentary's board of directors, enabling both companies to share their strategic direction and execution systems more closely.
